Yellow Flower

Been playing with some old, rarely used dies plus my favourite new ones.  This flower petals are made with an owl wing die from an old Poppy Stamps set, while the lacy border is from a new set from Hot Off The Press.  I bought three new HOTP sets recently and they are definitely my favourites of the moment : )

Cardstock - 6" square card blank, copper/bronze pearl, Rosie's Studio textured Sorbet
Paper - Graphic 45 Place In Time
Dies - Poppy Stamps Clever Owl, HOTP Paper Artist 2 Lacy Borders
Tools - Sizzix Big Shot, sponge dauber, circle punch for flower back
Ink - Memento Dandelion sponged around petals
Adhesives - ds tape, Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue, glue dot
Other - sentiment sticker, copper medallion from jewellery making stash, mini bobble trim

  5. Well done on the construction of that fabulous flower Jenny, it looks awesome. What a great idea to use the wing of the owl for the petals. I love the pretty die cut border and I like the way you have embellished it with the strip of trim. Great job!
