Japanese Scene

A card for Darnell's NBUS challenge using the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I have had this Stamp-It stamp for about a year and today is the first time it has seen ink.  I coloured the image with alcohol markers, but I think it may look nicer in water colours.

Paper - My Minds Eye Stella and Rose
Stamp - Stamp-It Japanese Scene
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Markers - Copic E33 (Sand), KaiserFusion BR04 (Bronze), Bic Mark-it Cloud Nine Grey, Honey Brown, Moonstone Yellow, Forest Green
Dies - QuicKutz Nesting Circles, CC Designs Cutters Phlox Flowers
Tools - Sizzix Big Shot, Fiskars compact stamp press
Adhesives - ds tape, glue dots
Other - natural (colour) mesh, white felt snippets, black pearls, sentiment sticker

  7. What a cool card! I'm a sucker for just about anything in the Asian vein, so this is right up my alley. I love the stamp, but that background paper and mesh really calls to me. Great job!

  11. Great card, everything ties together and compliments perfectly. The yellow sun gives that little pop of colour. Thanks for joining us this month at Bizzy Becs for our "Anything Goes" challenge.
