Happy Fathers Day Tree

A Fathers Day card using the colours of the pic at Scrapbook Boutique as inspiration.

I also had a go at Therese's tutorial, but using woodgrain patterned paper.  I originally tried a thin sheet of bamboo, but it was too brittle and just cracked when it went through my Big Shot  : (

I used: MME Stella & Rose dp, Rosie's Studio textured kraft cardstock, QuicKutz tree die, Spellbinders Mega Ovals die, StampTV Happy Days stamp, Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Challenges:
Scrapbook Boutique August Challenge - Inspiration Pic ~ Our Favourite Man
Simon Monday Challenge - Make The Cut
Simon Wednesday Challenge - Monochromatic

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

  1. This is such a nice masculine card! I first thought the woodgrain patterned paper was real wood! It looks very realistic! The tree looks gorgeous as well!
