Vintage Birthday

A Vintage-style birthday card using the Tic Tac Toe at Incy Wincy Designs.  The paper is from my favourite paper pad "Memoirs" by inque boutique.  I love the vintage-feel of the blues and browns, one of my favourite colour combos.

I chose metal + lace + frame

I used: inque boutique Memoirs dp (background and lace), Rosie's Studio textured kraft cardstock, American Crafts pearl brad, antique bronze filigree jewellery connector, Marianne Design Creatables LR0117 frame die and LR0161 lace die, Tonic Tim Holtz distressing tool, paper flower from unknown die.

Retro Butterfly

A CAS birthday card using the Prickley Pear Butterflies 2 stamp set and coordinating die.  I love the retro feel of the butterfly and lollipop flowers.  The purple isn't as blue IRL, a difficult colour to photograph properly.

I used: Prickley Pear Butterflies 2 Clearly Beautiful Clear stamp set and coordinating die, Memento Bamboo Leaves and Grape Jelly inks, Fiskars Threading Water border punch, Kaisercraft Lilac rhinestones.

Another card for the UnstampaBelles CASE a DT challenge, the colour combo  inspired by the pics at Inspired By Stamping and The Ribbon Girl.

I CASEd this card from Beth using a new Cheery Lynn doily die and Couture Creations embossing folder.  I coloured the embossed areas with Memento and Distress inks using an eye shadow applicator.

Anniversary Butterfly

A vintage-style Anniversary card following the Bingo at Crafty Friends.

I chose Flowers + Blue + Buttons

 I used my new Prickley Pear butterfly stamp set and coordinating die I got in the mail today from Loves Rubberstamps, thanks Laura  :  )
I stamped the music sheet butterfly onto the patterned paper then again on a different paper and topped off with one of my "squashed bead cap flowers" and a button.  I stamped and inked around the edge of the card with Stormy Sky Distress Ink which is a perfect match to the blue on the dp, although it looks a little grey in the pic.

I used:  Inque Boutique dp, Prickley Pear Butterflies 2 stamp set and Butterfly die, Ranger Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress Ink.
