Butterflies and Birdcage

An almost-shabby card using my new Vintage Flourishes butterfly die and Prickley Pear birdcage die borrowed from sis (just ordered my own from Simon Says : )  The mesh ribbon and ribbon bow are from my stash I have had for a while now.  I used this beautiful pic at The Ribbon Reel as inspiration.

Shabby Butterfly

An almost Shabby Chic card with a beautiful butterfly digital image from Antique Images.  I followed the sketch at Friday Sketches and added a bit of faux stitching.

Oops, after loading the sketch I see I missed the dots in the corners.  Now I see that some pearls would finish my card off nicely.

Car Collage

A vintage-style card for a man using my never-before-inked car collage stamp.  I've been wanting to use it but don't have any cling foam for it to stick to a block, so I inked it then carefully picked it up with my fingers, placed it on the paper and pressed down with my stamp press.  It smudged a tiny bit but turned out ok  : )
